When a patient has 2 primary insurances because she has 2 full time jobs can she choose to use just one instead of both?
If she already had a OV and used plan A and now wants to completely drop plan A and only use Plan B can that be done?
Thank you!

She can technically do that, but it can become a COB (Coordination of Benefits) nightmare as Insure.com warns.

Having two policies could also be a nightmare for the coordination of benefits. It’s possible that each health insurance provider might say that the other plan is primary. Just for the potential red tape alone I wouldn’t recommend having health insurance plans with both employers.

But this old AAPC thread from 2013 highlights which one would be primary with COB:

It's called the longer/shorter rule. Whichever insurance has been in effect for the longest period is the primary.

If it is an adult who has the insurance for both plans, usually if they are both active group plans the plan that has been in effect longer is primary. If its a group plan and an individual, medicaid, or tricare plan, then the group plan is primary.

So it will most likely get kicked back to the older employer's insurance if the other insurance company discovers it.
