Resolved CAH professional billing Outpatient to Inpatient

Hello, I am needing verification about billing prof services for a CAH Method II when an ER patient gets admitted acute. We have an RHC that bills out the prof services for Inpatients under their NPI number. We have been instructed in the past to capture and bill all outpatient services on the outpatient claim and same for inpatient. But I cannot find my documentation for this. We would normally bill the ER prof fee on the UB with the other ER charges. Then the clinic would bill the Inpatient prof services on their claim under the clinic's RHC NPI #.
