So the doctor I bill for performed extensive surgery that included a Fibula Free Flap: 20969. Not sure what diagnosis is compatible. This patient has osteoradionecrosis of the right mandible, pathologic mandibular fracture, mucosal and osseous deficiency of the anterior mandible following composite resection of the oral cavity, open wound of leg status post harvest of osteocutaneous.
The doctor took some of his fibula and placed it in his jaw. So do I use osteoradionecrosis of the mandible since that is what is being replaced with the fibula?
