I Made a 66% this time. 61% the first time, 63% the second time, and now a 66. Same struggle area's, E/M, ICD-10-CM, Anesthesia, Lab/Path 60000, and 20000. Totally discouraged.

Kelly don't be discouraged keep on trying until you get study hard in those areas that you struggle in and watch you'll pass next time. Be positive and be encouraged. you got this.

I understand the frustration being I failed my last 2 attempts but I have been doing timed test and studying in the areas where I was weak in. I know now that the 3rd time is a charm for both of us. We got this!!

Oh we are so sorry to hear this news.

The exam is a hard one.

Perhaps brushing up on those specific areas will help.

Good Luck!

You got this you are very close to passing.

I suggest those practice exams as they can really help.

You should be scoring 85% or higher on timed practice exams before attempting the actual exam. Some students have squeaked by with scores in the mid-70s, but we do not advise testing until you're consistently scoring 85% or greater. Keep re-learning those problem areas and the corresponding guidelines to improve. Good luck!

See CCO Proven Process for exact steps to pass: https://www.cco.us/cco-proven-process/

I'm sorry to heard that, don't be discourage just think positive. I am so nervous myself too coz. I'm going to take my CIC exam on August the 7th. And praying to god that I will pass.

SidneyV I am studying for the CIC as well. I am taking it later this year. Good luck, keep up the practice and reviewing, it should all pay off in August for you!

You are welcome, and thanks for the kind words. I'm just drawing out a weekly study plan, take a practice exam, and then see what areas I need help in.

Congratulations KellyeM!! Awesome news on passing! Persistence paid off.
Great job!
