Hi Everyone,

I need some help. I took my CGSC exam and I received a 66% on my first attempt. I have about 4 weeks until I have to sit for my retake. I am do not code surgeries all that often and so I am not sure the best way to study for my retake. I'm not finding that the process of elimination really works on this type of an exam. I've done all the learning material that AAPC suggested. I received a 77% on my final exam of the course. I did about the same on the study guide, but I only got a 66% on the certification exam. Does anyone have any suggestions? Also, does anyone have any suggestions on the reference to bring? I used the AAPC General Surgery Guides (Volumes 1 and 2) for the exam, and I didn't really feel that it helped a whole lot on the exam. Does anyone have any advice on how I should use those references for the exam as well? I just don't know where to turn so that I can study.

Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated.
