AHIMA CCA is basically an apprentice credential you can not remove the A from.
The only requirement for the CCA is a high school diploma a coding course is only recommended. Employers just do not ask for the CCA & you will likely have to take & pay for a 2nd credential to make yourself more job marketable & get you the CCS keyword that will get your resume seen more.
