If you are testing in 2018 (Jan 1st; 2018 thru Dec 31st; 2018); you will nee to use 2018 manuals.
If you are testing in 2019 (Jan 1st; 2019 thru Dec 31st; 2019); you will need to use 2019 manuals.
If you are starting a new job in 2019; they will want you to use 2019 manuals so you are coding with the most accurate information. With a medical coding job; you will always need to buy new manuals each year. it is the cost of doing business as a medical coder.
